Title Deed Correction Services in Dubai
The second half of a deed describes the property: the community, the plot or unit, the area, the type. Errors here are rarer than name problems but harder for an owner to diagnose, because the authority on what is correct is not your documents — it is the DLD’s own records, maps and plans.
Unit and plot data. A transposed unit number, a deed pointing at the neighbouring plot’s reference. Resolved against the DLD’s registration records for the development.
Area figures. A deed area that disagrees with the approved plan often surfacing when a buyer’s valuer measures. The register is corrected to the authoritative plan; where the discrepancy traces to the developer’s documentation, the developer is part of resolving it.
Property type and use. A unit recorded under the wrong classification. Corrected against the approved planning records.
Identity corrections run on documents you hold. Property-data corrections run on records the DLD holds, sometimes with the developer or a survey in the loop so the evidence-gathering, not the amendment itself, sets the timeline. The practical advice is unglamorous: start with an exact statement of what the deed says versus what the authoritative record says, and let the file be built on that comparison.
